Everyone’s recruiting process is basically the same!

The truth is that we ALL fish in the same pond.  The process used to recruit professionals continues to evolve, but the process itself is not unique.

The tools that assist in the hiring process are available to every recruiter.  For example, the list of professionals are available to everyone with tools like LinkedIn. 

We “sell” career opportunities by talking to professionals one at a time and educating them on the “sizzle” of both the opportunity and the company.  We have access to professionals that most firms do not because we are one of very few (often only) recruiters that they have ever met.

There is NO “secret sauce”!

Nobody wants to talk to recruiters!

The truth is that top talent is contacted by recruiters dozens of times every month.  Nobody has the time or desire to talk to a bunch of recruiters who are focused on “what is in it for them”.

Attending conferences year after year has earned us the opportunity to be the select few that top talent will correspond with routinely.  Getting to know professionals personally allows us to gain their trust and learn their career objectives as well as motivations. 

Seeing us at conferences year after year not only provides us with valuable industry information, it also shows our commitment within the industry and allows us to gather critical information that we can use in order to assist our clients.

Being an expert means owning your marketplace!

The truth is that top talent is NOT looking at job boards.  The tools to email blast jobs to a database is abused and overused.  More importantly, it is not effective.

Companies often hire a recruiter after attempting to find someone themselves.  Then, they get frustrated when the recruiter has similar results.  Yet, if the recruiter is job boarding and email blasting, then they are doing the same thing as the company.  Thus, the results are the same.  We are not replicating what companies and internal recruiters are doing.  Rather, we are an extension of those efforts and our results are unmatched.

Knowledge is king!

The truth is that we cannot be all things to everyone.  We are specialists only within MedTech.  We excel in the marketplace that we own by spending ALL day EVERY day entrenched within one niche.

There are only so many hours in a day.  Because our wheelhouse is well-defined and limited, we can truly dominate our market.  Our network within our niche is robust and thorough.  Our relationships are deeply rooted and we are able to obtain valuable information for our clients that typically is only known among the “insiders”.
